Construction continues at the Miami Arts Charter School in Wynwood.

When completed, the 100,000-square-foot building will have a capacity of 1,200 students. Grades 6 to 12 will be taught.

Pembroke Pines Sells 42 Acres For New Charter School

The city of Pembroke Pines sold a 41.9-acre site on the western edge of the city for the development of a charter school.

The city sold the property, at 20700 Griffin Road, for $10.135 million to CA Miami 20700 GR, an affiliate of Santa Monica, California-based Turner Impact Capital. The buyer then signed a 29-year lease with the Florida Charter Foundation, which plans to build a Franklin Academy middle and high school there.

School Campus Trades For $6.7 Million, Charter School To Open For 2015-1016 School Year

A new tuition-free public charter school will be opening this August, just in time for the 2015-2016 school year.

Sandra Goldstein, CCIM, broker and owner of Sandra Goldstein Commercial Real Estate, represented Smart Charter LLC in the purchase of a 22,722-square-foot school campus located at 13300 S.W. 120th Street in Miami, Florida, for $6,700,000.
